Yesterday was rough. The juice tasted great and everything, but my self-control was lacking. The cravings hit me hard. I cheated a couple times throughout the day and ended up having real food for dinner. I felt terrible, but realized that jumping into an all juice fast is just too much for me right now, so I have a new plan.
I've decided now to juice for 21 days instead of 14. BUT instead of an all-juice fast, I'm going to incorporate 1 healthy meal a day, at least starting off. It's been very challenging for me not to have any food so I'm trying to be more practical. I'm not an unhealthy eater anyway, so I figured I could allow myself to have a meal. However, this meal will be at least 75% vegetarian.
I think this is a good plan for me and I'm excited to see what happens. Despite my slipups these last couple days, I did manage to lose .4lbs and get down to 185.2. Of course that's not much but it's something. I honestly thought I'd gain because of what I ate for dinner, so I'm glad to see that I still lost something.
I guess I should own up to what all I ate yesterday, so I can feel less guilty. I had cheesecake and for dinner I had Buffalo Wild Wings. There, I admitted it.
I'm feeling better and more hopeful for today now that I've implemented a plan that could work better for me : )
